Li Wang Hejun, director of the trade relief bureau of the Ministry of commerce, said the Chinese side questioned the European Commission's approach and decision to high tax rates and expressed concern about the protectionist tendencies shown by the European union in the steel sector. 

The Chinese government hopes that the EU will strictly abide by the relevant WTO rules, terminate the use of the " alternative country" method and fully guarantee the right of Chinese enterprises to defend.
